How does the online proof approval process work?

After our team reviews your files, an online proof becomes available for you to view. What happens next depends on the option you chose at checkout.

• If you selected Straight To Production when placing the order, the job goes into production automatically with no proof-approval step, so you will not see a proof to sign off on
• Otherwise, you are notified by email when the free online proof is ready; log in and click the order number to view it
• Review your proof carefully, including any notes from the rep handling your order
• To send it to press, click OK MY PROOFS and then APPROVE; approving the proofs and authorizing payment is what releases the job to production
• If you are not satisfied, click REJECT MY PROOFS and add a message explaining what needs to change; a technician applies your feedback and posts a new proof, and the cycle repeats until you approve

A Hard Copy Proof, a physical printed proof, is also available for color-critical or high-value jobs. You receive a notification when your order is being prepared to ship. Options and turnaround can vary by product and may change, so confirm the latest details on the product page or with support.
