Question
What should I do if my file dimensions are incorrect?
Answer
If your file is not the correct finished size for the product, it needs to be resized before it can be produced. A postcard set to 4x6, for example, must actually measure 4x6 with bleed added.
- Open your file and reset the artboard to the correct product dimensions plus the required bleed.
- Confirm important content sits inside the safe margin so nothing is trimmed off.
- Log into your account and upload the corrected file to your order.
- The reviewed file is checked by the team before it prints.
Resizing in your design software (rather than stretching a low-resolution image) keeps the artwork sharp at print size.
