Question

What does it mean when I see a message that my file is not print ready?

Answer

A not print ready message means your file does not yet meet the technical requirements for professional printing.

Layout should match the 4OVER4 template for your product, such as CD covers or postcards
Bleed should be included so color reaches the trimmed edge
Color mode should be correct, typically CMYK for print
Resolution should be high enough, with 300 DPI as a good target

Review the supplied template carefully, correct the flagged issue, and resubmit your file in the right format.
