What file dimensions should my files be for printing?
Answer
Your files should match the exact finished dimensions of the product you ordered.
- Example: if you ordered 4.25 by 5.5 inch flyers, your files should be 4.25 by 5.5 inches
- If the files do not match, the order is held and you are asked to upload corrected files
- Log into your 4OVER4 account, open the order, and re-upload on the file upload page
- The order then re-enters the queue for technical review
Setting your document to the ordered size from the start avoids holds and keeps production moving.
Add 1/8 inch (0.125") of bleed on every side beyond the finished size, and keep text and logos inside the safe area. If bleed has to be added for you, a $25 fee applies.
