4OVER4 prints postcards from print-ready PDF files, which lock your fonts, colors, images and layout so nothing reflows or shifts on press. If your artwork lives in another program, export or flatten it to PDF with print settings, not screen settings, or contact support to confirm the file will work before you order.

• Preferred format: a single flattened, print-ready PDF.
• Size and bleed: build at your final postcard size plus 1/8" (0.125") bleed on every side so there are no white edges after trimming.
• Crop marks: include them so the trim lines are clear.
• Color: CMYK, not RGB, so on-screen color matches the press.
• Resolution: keep photos and raster images at 300 DPI.
• Fonts: outline (in InDesign or Illustrator) or embed them.
