Why a Folded Card File Is Twice as Wide as the Card
This is the single mistake that sends birthday card files back for a re-upload. A folded card is printed on one flat sheet and creased, so the artwork has to be built at the flat size, not the finished size.
Take the 5" x 7" card. Flat, it is 10" x 7", with the score down the middle at 5". The right half of that sheet is the front cover, the left half is the back, and if you build it the other way round the birthday message ends up on the back of the card.
