Question

What should I do if my labels are not sticking properly to outdoor equipment?

Answer

When labels are not holding on outdoor gear, start with the surface. Even a little dust, grease, or moisture keeps adhesive from bonding. If the surface is clean and they still lift, the adhesive may simply need to be stronger for that material.

  • Wipe the surface clean, dry, and smooth before applying
  • Press firmly and give the adhesive time to set
  • Request a sample with stronger adhesive to test first
  • Match the adhesive to the material, whether aluminum, steel, or another surface
