Can printing be placed in the gap areas between die-cut labels?

No. On a die-cut sheet or roll, only the label area itself gets printed and trimmed. The gap or matrix area between labels is waste material that is peeled away, so artwork placed there is lost and can cause registration problems.

• Design inside the template: keep all artwork within the printable label shape.
• Respect the bleed and safe zone: extend background color to the bleed line, but keep text and logos inside the safe margin.
• Leave the gaps empty: the space between cuts exists for clean separation, not for printing.

Always build your file on the supplied product template so the die line, bleed, and safe area line up. If you are unsure how your layout maps to the cut, share a visual reference with support before you submit.
