White BOPP is a durable, water-resistant white plastic film that is popular for stickers and labels. Its surface is smooth but not high gloss on its own, so the finish depends on whether you add a laminate.
- Uncoated BOPP: a clean, low-sheen look straight off the press.
- Gloss lamination: adds the shiny, reflective finish most people picture when they say glossy, plus extra scuff and moisture protection.
- Matte or silk lamination: keeps glare down for a softer, more premium feel.
So if a glossy look is the goal, plan to add gloss lamination rather than relying on the bare film.
