Can lenticular stickers have a transparent background?
Answer
No, lenticular stickers cannot have a truly transparent background. They are printed on a special lenticular lens material that produces the motion or 3D effect, and that lens is not see-through the way a standard clear sticker is.
- Unprinted areas: any spot left without ink shows the lens material itself, not the surface behind it.
- The effect comes first: the ridged lens is what creates the animation or depth, so transparency is not part of how the product works.
- If you need see-through: a clear sticker or clear label is the right product for a transparent look, just without the lenticular motion effect.
