Question
Can QR codes be printed on lenticular stickers?
Answer
A QR code should not sit on the lenticular face of the sticker, because the lens effect can distort it and break scanning.
- Avoid placing the QR code on the moving lenticular surface.
- Print it on the back of the sticker for a flat, reliable scan.
- If the code must appear within the design, set it up as a static (non-animated) element on a flat area so it scans properly.
- Consult the design team about your specific setup.
- Test the scan before committing to a full run.
