Rewind direction matters most when a machine, not a person, applies your labels. If you hand-apply, direction is probably not a concern for you at all.
- Hand application: direction rarely matters, you place each label by eye
- Machine or automatic application: the applicator expects a specific orientation
- The wrong direction can jam an applicator or apply labels upside down
- Confirm the required rewind position with your equipment before ordering
