What is a Gate Fold?

A gate fold is a panel fold where the two outside panels fold inward to meet in the center, opening from the middle like a set of gates. The left and right flaps swing open to reveal a wide, uninterrupted inside spread.

• Panels: typically three or four panels with the outer two folding toward the center.
• The reveal: opening both flaps exposes a large central panel, which works well for a dramatic image or headline.
• Good for: upscale brochures, real estate sheets, menus, and event programs.
