Does spot UV work on all paper colors?

Spot UV works on any paper color, but the drama of the effect depends on what is underneath it. It shows up most boldly on dark, matte backgrounds and stays more subtle on lighter ones.

• Dark stocks: black, navy, and deep jewel tones create the strongest contrast.
• Light stocks: the effect is softer and more elegant, noticed more by touch than by sight.

Pick your background with the effect in mind: go dark for high contrast, or light for a quieter, more refined shine.
