What colors work best for kraft printing?

Kraft paper has a natural brown surface, so dark, saturated colors read best against it. Light and pastel inks tend to sink into the brown and lose their punch.

• Strong performers: black, navy, deep red, forest green, and other rich, dark tones.
• White ink is available on select kraft products and creates a bold, modern contrast.
• Avoid light pastels, pale yellows, and anything low-contrast, since the kraft background muddies them.

For the cleanest look, design with the brown showing through as part of the palette rather than trying to fully cover it.
