What bleed do I need for a 2" x 3.5" business card?
Answer
A standard 2" x 3.5" business card needs 0.125" (1/8 inch) of bleed on every side. That extra margin of artwork is trimmed off, guaranteeing color reaches the edge with no white borders.

- Extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed area.

Building to the full bleed size from the start prevents the thin white edges that come from designing exactly at trim.
