If I emboss or deboss a design on a business card, will the impression be visible on both sides?

Embossing and debossing are one-sided finishes. The impression shows on the side you specify, not on the reverse.

- Deboss: a recessed impression pressed into the surface
- Visibility: the effect appears on one face only, and the opposite side stays flat
