What makes a coloring page work
Outlines and nothing else. No grey, no shading, no filled areas, because anything already dark leaves nowhere to colour. Thick even lines for a small child, finer and more intricate for an adult.
Photos with a clear subject and a simple background work best. A busy photo becomes a page of tangled lines.
