What Size Should a Retail Label Be
A 2" x 3.5" suits most bottles and boxes, and a 2.75" x 2.75" or 3.25" x 3.25" square sits cleanly on jars and tins. Need room for ingredients or a nutrition panel? Step up to 4" x 6" or 5" x 7", or set your own dimensions with Any Size. Measure the flat area of the container first, since a label wider than the curve allows will wrinkle when applied. Pick a material that fits the job
Uncoated stock takes a pen, and semi-gloss reads clean on an everyday product. Pick hi-gloss UV or white vinyl for a bottle that sweats in a cooler. Clear vinyl and clear cling let the container show through, repositionable vinyl lifts and resticks without tearing, fluorescent stocks shout from a shelf, and brown kraft reads natural and unbleached.
