Deck the Storefront With a Banner Built to Order
Christmas banners are custom vinyl banners printed to order for the holiday season, sized for a storefront, a hall, a fence or a stage. A plain storefront, hall, or yard becomes a holiday scene the moment the banner goes up. Print a greeting, a sale, a logo, or a full seasonal illustration across a wide vinyl sheet, then hang it right where the crowd already looks. Christmas banners start at $79 for a single 2' x 4' and carry a 4.8 out of 5 rating across 22 reviews, run in-house on the same presses we've printed banners on since 1999.
Measure the wall, the fence run or the gap between two light poles, and order the banner at that size. For the rest of the seasonal lineup, browse every style on pre-designed banners, or stay here and build yours from the choices below.
One order can hold 1 to 100 banners, from a 2 by 4 foot piece for the shop door up to a 20 by 15 foot display across a building, on either of 2 weatherproof vinyls. The price changes with each size, vinyl and finishing choice.
What Is a Christmas Banner
This is a full color vinyl banner you print for the holidays and hang indoors or out. We print it on 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl or 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl, in 24 sizes from 2' x 4' up to a custom 20' x 15', with hems and pole pockets set in the live configurator.
Put a greeting, a holiday sale, your logo or a full winter illustration on it, and hang it where shoppers or guests already look. If you need one that lives outside all season, the Outdoor Banners share the same weatherproof build.
What Size Should a Christmas Banner Be
You can pick from 24 preset sizes, 2' x 4' first, then 2' x 5', 2' x 6', 2' x 10' and larger, or order a custom size up to 240 by 180 inches, which is 20' x 15'.
A holiday greeting over a shop door or a counter fits the 2' x 4'. A storefront face or a fence line takes 2' x 6' or 2' x 10', and the side of a building or a Christmas concert stage takes a custom piece up to 20 by 15 feet. The default is 2' x 4', and every preset plus the custom option sits in the configurator exactly the way you will pick it. Set the width and height, and the price follows the size.
Size, material and finishing by placement
Pick the placement first and the rest of the order follows it. The 24 stock sizes start at 2' x 4' and run up through 2' x 10' and larger, with a custom trim made to order as big as 20' x 15'.
| Placement | Size to pick | Material | Finishing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storefront, above the door or across the glass | 2' x 4' for a single door, a long 2' x 10' to span a shopfront | 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl | Hem all 4 sides, 2" pole pockets top and bottom |
| Indoor wall, hall or church foyer | 2' x 4' up through the mid ladder, sized to the wall it sits on | 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl, so light from a window behind does not show the back of the print | Hem all 4 sides, 2" pole pockets if it hangs from a rod |
| Fence line, lot or exterior rail | The long sizes, 2' x 10' and up | 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl | Hem all 4 sides for the extra pull a fence run takes in wind |
| Event stage or photo backdrop | Custom, up to 20' x 15' | 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl, which stays opaque under stage lighting | Hem all 4 sides, 4" pole pockets top and bottom for a straight hang on a heavier pole |
| Short run over a table, counter or market stall | 2' x 4' | 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl | Hem two sides is enough for a banner that only hangs for a weekend |
Every order carries a free online proof, so check the size against the wall or the frame before you approve it. A banner that is two inches wider than the space it hangs in is the most common reprint on this product.
What Vinyl and Finishing Can You Choose
You choose between 2 vinyls. 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl is the standard weatherproof scrim, and 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl is heavier, with a core that blocks light so a bright window or a busy background does not show through the print. Hem none, two or all 4 sides, and add a 2" or 4" pole pocket sleeve at the top and bottom. A free online proof is available before print.
A banner on a fence or a storefront through a wet December goes on the 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl, which takes the weather and reads bright across a parking lot. A banner in a church window or in front of stage lights goes on the 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl, whose opaque core stops the light behind it from showing the back of the print.
Next, pick the edges. A hem folds and welds the border against wind and tearing, on the top and bottom only or on all 4 sides. A pole pocket sews a 2" or 4" sleeve along the top and bottom so a rod slides through and the banner hangs straight. Before anything prints, choose a free online proof to check your layout, or send it straight to production if you are sure.
Vinyl or fabric for an indoor holiday display
Both vinyl weights here are built to hold color outdoors through a wet December. Standard 13oz. Outdoor Vinyl is the working choice for anything on a wall, fence or storefront. Heavier 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl carries a light-blocking layer, so it stays opaque where daylight or a stage light sits behind it and nothing ghosts through from the far side.
Indoors, the trade-off changes. Vinyl has a slight sheen that can throw a hot spot back at a camera or a spotlight, which matters for a church hall, a stage or a photo wall. Fabric banners sit flat and matte under that lighting and fold away for storage without the crease line vinyl keeps. Mesh banners are the outdoor answer instead: the perforated surface lets wind pass through rather than fighting it, which is what you want on an exposed December facade or a rooftop rail.
Finishing, and what it is actually for
Hemming folds and reinforces the edge so the banner does not start tearing from the point where it is fixed. Reinforce none, two, or all 4 sides. Two sides suits a short indoor hang; all 4 is what you want on anything outdoors or anything staying up through the whole season.
Pole pockets are a sewn sleeve along the top and bottom edge, in 2" or 4", that a pole or rod slides through. The 2" pocket takes a light rod for an indoor hang; the 4" pocket takes a heavier pole for a stage banner or a wide exterior run, and the weight in the bottom pocket is what stops a tall banner curling.
Start From a Holiday Design or Your Own Art
To build the banner yourself, pick one of the holiday layouts below and put your shop name, your sale or your service times on it in your own colors. Keep the greeting short, because a banner gets read from across a street or a hall.
If your artwork is ready, download the blank Christmas banner template at the size you ordered. It marks the trim, the bleed and the safe margin, so keep the greeting clear of the hems and pole pockets, drop your art in, and upload.
Wally hangs the holidays 20 feet wide
One $79 vinyl banner that turns a plain wall into a holiday scene.

A Christmas banner starts at $79 and prints on weatherproof vinyl in any size up to 20 by 15 feet. Pick 13oz. Outdoor or heavier 15oz. BlackOut vinyl, add hems and pole pockets for a clean hang, and Wally ships it in as fast as same-day. Deck the storefront, the hall, or the yard.
How Much Do Christmas Banners Cost
A single 2' x 4' Christmas banner costs $79. Four things move the total, the size, the vinyl, the hems and pole pockets, and the turnaround, and the configurator shows the exact price before you order.
That $79 covers one 2' x 4' banner on the default vinyl. A larger size, the heavier 15oz. BlackOut Vinyl, hems on all 4 sides, pole pockets or a rush speed each add to it, and the price shows each change as you pick it. A town ordering pole banners for a whole street, or a chain dressing every store, can put up to 100 banners on one order. How Fast Can You Get Christmas Banners
4OVER4 prints Christmas banners on four turnaround speeds: a standard 3 business days, plus 2-day, Next-Day, and Same-Day rush. Same-day orders approved by the daily cutoff ship that day from the New York City facility. You choose the speed in the configurator, and faster options adjust the price.
The holidays run on deadlines, so the turnaround is built for them. Standard production is 3 business days and keeps the price lowest. When the date creeps up, move to 2-day or Next-Day, or choose Same-Day and, once your order is approved by the cutoff, it ships that day out of the NYC plant. 4OVER4 lands 99.8% of orders on time and ships 82% early, so a banner you need before the tree lighting actually arrives before the tree lighting.
Order By Dates for Christmas Delivery
Count backwards from the day the banner has to be hanging. Standard production is 3 business days, transit sits on top of that, and hanging a storefront banner takes a person and a ladder, so build in a spare day at your end.
For a banner that has to be up for the start of the holiday shopping season, place a standard order at least two weeks ahead, which leaves room for a proof revision without touching the rush tiers. Approve the free online proof the same day it lands, because production does not start until you do, and a proof approved on a Friday afternoon usually enters the queue on the Monday.
Inside that window the rush tiers buy back production time: 2-day, Next-Day and Same-Day. None of them shorten transit, so the real cut off for a last minute banner is the last shipping day your carrier can still reach you before the date, not the last production day. Custom trims up to 20' x 15' and heavier finishing are the orders to place early, not late.
What Can You Use Christmas Banners For
Shops, churches, towns, families and market vendors hang them as storefront and window signage, hall and church decor, yard and fence displays, event and market backdrops, and street pole banners. With a custom size and weatherproof vinyl, one design covers a small door or a full building face, indoors or out. For a bigger event, our guide to event signage planning from entrance to stage maps where each banner goes.
Retailers hang them across a storefront to announce a holiday sale. Churches and community halls string them along a wall for a service or a concert. Neighborhoods and towns run them up light poles down a main street. Families stretch them across a garage or a fence for a yard display. Markets and pop-ups use them as a backdrop that packs flat and travels. Because you set the size and pick a vinyl tough enough for weather, the same design works whether it hangs behind a register or over a parking lot.
How Do Christmas Banners Compare to Other Banners
A banner that comes down after New Year may suit a different style than one that stays up all year. If you are weighing an Indoor Banner, an all-weather Outdoor Banner or a Business Banner, the chart below sets their starting prices beside the Christmas banner.
See the Rest of Our Banners
The full print product range and the seasonal options on pre-designed banners hold the rest of our banners, each with its own starting price and a link to its product page.
A banner rarely goes up alone. Christmas window clings cover the glass beside it and lift off clean in January, and Christmas yard signs carry the same artwork out to the curb, the lot or the driveway. The full Christmas printing collection holds the rest of the seasonal range, so one artwork file can dress the whole site.
