- The name and the date. Set the child's name as the largest thing on the banner and the date underneath; on a 2' x 4' that pairing reads across a fellowship hall.
- The church name. Smaller, along the bottom, so a photo found in twenty years shows where it happened.
- A scripture line. One short verse, such as Isaiah 43:1, "I have called you by name, you are mine," or Mark 10:14, "Let the little children come to me."
- A photo panel. Send the largest original file you have rather than a copy pulled off a phone message, because a banner enlarges everything, including the compression.
- Family or godparent names. Optional, set smallest, under the scripture line.
