On Layer Cake Business Cards and Layer Cake Hangtags, a colored sheet can be pressed into the middle, so the 32pt to 64pt piece shows a stripe of color along every edge. Layer Cake Postcards use the same thick build up to 80pt without a colored seam. All three start at 50 pieces.

Layer Cake Hangtags come in six sizes from 2 by 2 up to 2 by 6 inches on 48pt or 64pt uncoated or 40pt or 56pt gloss, with a 1/8 or 3/16 inch hole, from 50 for $33.72.
Layer Cake Postcards run from 2.5 by 2.5 to 4 by 4 inches, from 50 for $25.60, and reach the heaviest stocks in the range, 80pt UltraWhite or 72pt Gloss, plus 26pt Metallic Pearl Ice for a shimmer. Every format prints full color on one side or both.
Seam Colors to Pair With Your Card
The seam works through contrast. On a white card, a bold center such as Red, Black or Blue Raspberry stands out; on a dark design, a brighter core shows more. Business cards offer five seam colors: Black, Blue Raspberry, Orange Fizz, Red and Pacific Breeze. Hangtags add more, including Cotton Candy, Grape Jelly, Gumdrop Green, Lemon Drop, Limeade and Razzle Berry.
The face takes its look from the stock: UltraWhite uncoated feels soft and takes a pen, while the gloss covers give brighter color. Keep the layout clean and let the edge show.
