Drilled Holes on Tags, Bookmarks and Calendars
Hole drilling puts a round hole through a printed piece, sized for string, ribbon or a hook. Standard Hang Tags and Black Hangtags take a single 1/8 or 3/16 inch hole, Standard Bookmarks and Standard Calendars offer the same two sizes or no hole, and Silk Laminated Spot UV Hangtags, Suede Hangtags and Metallic Bookmarks take a single 1/8 inch hole.
Nine Products, Tags to Bound Books
Standard Hang Tags print in seven sizes from 2 by 2 to 4 by 6 inches on 13pt to 26pt card, from 50 for $25.27, and Black Hangtags in six sizes on 32pt to 80pt black stock, from 50 for $30.76, printed in white ink or CMYK plus white. Silk Laminated Spot UV Hangtags start at 500 and Suede Hangtags at 100, both on 16 point laminated card.
Standard Bookmarks print at 2 by 6 or 2 by 8 inches from 50 for $16.48, and Metallic Bookmarks at 2 by 6 inches on 16pt stock from 500. Standard Calendars at 8.5 by 11 inches take a drilled hole for a wall nail. Standard Catalogs and the Perfect Bound Book list a three-hole punch field on their product pages, but it currently offers no holes, so plan a binder set around the calendar or tag formats instead.
Design Tips for Clean Holes
Thin paper can tear around a hole with repeated handling, so pick 14pt or heavier for a tag that gets pulled on, and a laminated stock such as Suede or Silk where the tag rides on a garment through a store. A 3/16 inch hole takes a thicker cord or a plastic fastener; 1/8 inch suits string and thin ribbon.
Production Times
Standard Hang Tags offer production times up to 5 business days with the hole included, bookmarks up to 3, Metallic Bookmarks 7, the laminated tags 4 or 7, and calendars and catalogs up to 7. Across all 4OVER4.COM orders, 82% ship early and 99.8% arrive on time.

Hole Drilling FAQ
What hole sizes are available?
A single 1/8 inch or 3/16 inch hole. Standard and Black Hangtags, Standard Bookmarks and Standard Calendars offer both; the laminated tags and Metallic Bookmarks offer 1/8 inch only.
Can I get more than one hole?
Not on these products today: each takes one drilled hole. If a project needs two or three holes for a ring or a binder, ask for a quote through custom projects before you order.
How do I set up my artwork so the hole lands right?
Keep text, logos and key artwork at least 0.25 inches from the drill point, and keep the hole center at least 0.25 inches from any trimmed edge. The blank template for each product marks the safe zone and bleed, so check your file against it before upload.
Does the hole come drilled on a calendar?
Choose a 1/8 or 3/16 inch hole on Standard Calendars when you order, or leave it off if the calendar will sit on a desk or go in a frame.
