Is the white vinyl permanent material on your labels waterproof? Can it be used for outdoor applications?
Answer
White vinyl is a plastic label material built to handle demanding conditions. It is dishwasher safe and rated for outdoor use, so it holds up far better than a paper label. Keep in mind it is water resistant rather than 100% waterproof, meaning it stands up to splashes, rain and washing but is not intended for full, prolonged submersion.
- Dishwasher safe: survives repeated wash cycles, ideal for reusable bottles and containers.
- Outdoor rated: resists sun, moisture and everyday weather exposure.
- Water resistant, not fully waterproof: great for wet environments, but avoid soaking it underwater for long periods.
