Question

Why does my mockup show blurred text on the back of my print?

Answer

A little blur on the back of a mockup is almost always a preview limitation, not a sign of how the finished piece will print. The online preview renders your file at screen resolution, so fine text can look soft even when your print file is crisp.

What actually controls the sharpness of the printed result:

  • File resolution, ideally 300 DPI or higher for all text and images
  • Color mode, with CMYK giving the most predictable output
  • The print options you select, such as stock and finish

If your source file is high-resolution and set up correctly, the back will print clean even if the mockup looks slightly blurry. If you still have doubts, reach out to support with your file details and they can review the specific area you are worried about.
