What do I need to provide to create a custom scratch-off product?

A custom scratch-off product is built from two separate files: your printed design and a mask that defines the scratch area. Keeping them separate lets the press print your artwork first and then apply the scratch-off layer exactly where you want it.

You will supply:

• A full-color file with all of your design and artwork
• A second mask file where the scratch-off area is filled solid black to mark where customers scratch

Start both files from the blank template that matches your chosen size so the two layers line up. Building the mask in a vector program keeps the edges crisp and the placement accurate.
