Question
Can 4OVER4 print white ink on dark backgrounds?
Answer
4OVER4 prints every job in CMYK, and white ink exists on some products only, so white or light-colored ink on a dark background is not a default option everywhere. For projects that specifically need light ink on dark, reach out to support with your exact specifications before you finalize the design.
- White ink exists on some products only, so plan artwork with that in mind.
- Contact support with your product, material, and design if you need white or light ink.
- A common workaround is to reverse the design, using a light background with dark or black text, which prints reliably.
