What is a proof and how do I approve or reject it?
A proof is a preview of your design before printing, and it is your chance to catch any issue while it is still easy to fix. You approve it when it is right or send corrections when it is not.
- Log in, go to My Account, and click your order number to view the proof when you receive the notification.
- Review it for accuracy in layout, text, color, and sizing.
- If everything looks correct, accept the proof and click Approve on the order, which authorizes payment and releases the job to production.
- If something is wrong, click Reject Proofs and enter your feedback in the comments so a technician can review it and upload a new proof. You can also resubmit corrected PDF files.
A proof stays pending until you act on it, so if you need a change, send your updated files promptly to keep your date. Once the job is printed, changes cannot be made.
Once you approve the proof, the job prints exactly as shown, so check text, images, layout and trim carefully. A proof never expires.
