What happens if my order gets sent to production before I approve the proof?

Once an order moves into production it is on the press schedule and generally cannot be paused or edited, which is why reviewing and approving proofs quickly matters. Acting fast is the difference between a simple fix and a reprint.

• Not on the press yet: contact 4OVER4 support right away and there is usually still time to hold it and post a corrected proof.
• Already printing: the run typically cannot be stopped, and revised materials would need a new order.
• Straight to Production orders: these skip the wait for approval, so review the posted proof immediately if you want changes.

To avoid this, approve or reject proofs as soon as the email notification arrives. The sooner the team hears from you, the more options you have.
