Complete specifications up front are the fastest way to an accurate quote and no production delays on a folded brochure or leaflet. The fold is the detail most people forget, so be specific about how the piece should open.

• Flat size and folded size: the sheet dimensions before and after folding.
• Fold type: tri-fold (letter fold), z-fold, accordion, double parallel, closed gate fold and so on.
• Number of panels: how many sections the fold creates.
• Paper: the stock type and weight.
• Ink: full-color process plus any Pantone (PMS) spot colors, and whether it prints one or both sides.
• Quantity: the count for each design or version.
• Timeline: when files will be ready and when you need it in hand.
