A booklet quote depends on several specs working together, so the more precise you are, especially on page count and paper, the more accurate the estimate. Provide the following.
- Dimensions: width and height in inches
- Page count: the total number of pages
- Cover paper: stock and weight, and whether it is text weight or cover stock
- Inside paper: stock and weight for the interior pages
- Quantity: number of copies
- Color: full color, black and white, or a mix
- Binding: saddle stitch, perfect bound, or another method
- Turnaround: when you need the finished booklets
Being specific about weights, for example 80# versus 100#, and text versus cover stock, keeps the quote accurate.
