Can I use Spot UV on soft-touch postcards?

Spot UV cannot be applied over a soft-touch surface. Soft-touch is an uncoated stock with a velvety texture, and the raised clear gloss needs a coated or laminated base to bond and shine properly.

Spot UV is available on these stocks instead:

• Silk coated
• Gloss coated
• Matte coated
• Silk laminated
• Velvet laminated

If you want both a tactile feel and a shiny accent, a velvet-laminated or silk-laminated stock paired with Spot UV gives you the soft base and the glossy highlight together.
