Question
Why is my phone number being rejected when I try to sign up?
Answer
A message that your phone number is too short almost always comes down to formatting. No phone number is needed to sign up, but if you enter one, the field expects a complete number, so missing digits or a missing prefix will trip it up.
- Enter the full number, including the country code (for example, +1 for the United States).
- Add the area code if your region uses one.
- Remove extra spaces, dashes, or parentheses if the field is strict about formatting.
- Double-check that no digits were dropped when typing.
- If the error continues, contact 4OVER4 support and they can help create your account.
