Question

Can I make stickers at home without a special printer?

Answer

Yes, a standard inkjet printer plus sticker paper from a craft store handles small batches. Just know the tradeoffs before you print anything that customers will see.

  • Works for: small personal batches, quick tests, and one-off projects.
  • Limits: colors are less vivid, and durability is short without lamination.
  • Water resistance: inkjet ink can smudge unless you add a clear laminate overlay.
  • Rule of thumb: for anything over about 50 pieces or anything customer-facing, professional printing gives sharper color and tougher material.
