What happens if my image files are in RGB and low resolution?

Images that are both RGB and low resolution are the two things most likely to make a print look soft or off-color. RGB colors shift when converted for print, and low resolution leaves edges and text fuzzy.

For sharp, accurate results:

• Use CMYK color mode so colors reproduce as expected
• Build images at 300 DPI or higher at final size
• Avoid enlarging small web images, which lowers effective resolution

If a file comes in as RGB or low resolution, it gets flagged during file review and a proof is posted showing the corrections for you to approve before printing.
