How do I assemble a telescopic banner stand?

A telescopic banner stand goes together with a few pole sections, a base, and crossbars that hold the banner taut. Work on a soft, flat surface so nothing gets scratched, and do not overtighten the knobs.

1. Unpack all parts and lay them flat on a soft surface.
2. Attach the vertical support poles to the base feet using the screws, washers, or wing nuts provided.
3. Connect the horizontal pole sections together to form the banner's full width.
4. Slide the assembled crossbars through the pole pockets at the top and bottom of the banner.
5. Attach the top and bottom crossbars to the vertical poles with the screw-knobs, snug but not overtightened.
6. Slowly extend the vertical poles while lifting the banner, locking them with the telescopic levers.
7. Run zip ties through the grommets and around the poles to keep the banner tight.
