Question
What is large format printing?
Answer
Large format printing produces oversized output that exceeds the size of a standard press sheet, using wide-format inkjet devices on roll or rigid media.
- What it covers: banners, posters, and signage.
- Media types: roll materials like vinyl and fabric, plus rigid boards.
- Viewing distance: resolution is tuned for how far away people stand, so files can be lower dpi than small-format work.
- Finishing: options like grommets, hems, and pole pockets support hanging and display.
