Screens show color in RGB and presses print in CMYK, so a few of the brightest shades will shift on paper.
- Neon greens, electric blues, and hot pinks rarely reproduce accurately
- Choose rich, saturated tones over fluorescents
- Work in a CMYK-friendly palette while you design
Files are converted to CMYK during prepress, but designing with print-safe colors from the start is the surest way to avoid surprises.
