Every roll label is built from a few layers working together. Knowing what each one does helps you choose the right combination for how and where your labels will be used.

Layer	What it is
Facestock	The printed material: semi-gloss, white BOPP, clear BOPP, white vinyl and more
Adhesive	The type of "stickiness" that bonds the label to your product
Liner	The backing the labels are wound onto, which peels away when the label is applied

The facestock sets the look and feel, the adhesive controls how it sticks, and the liner carries the labels on the roll until they are used.
