Order 15 to 20% more invitations than your final guest count. The extras cover the situations that always come up, and reprinting later almost never makes sense once you factor in setup and a second shipping charge.

• Keepsakes: save one for yourself and family.
• Addressing mistakes: a few will get miswritten, and that is normal.
• Photographer and planner: vendors often want a clean copy.

Because per-unit cost drops at higher quantities, the extra invitations add very little to your total.
