Will the gold or silver edge chip over time?

Edge foil applied to thick card stock is built to survive everyday handling. When it is bonded properly to the paper edge, normal use will not make it chip or flake.

• Routine handling like pulling cards from a holder or handing them out at events will not damage the foil.
• Avoid bending a card sharply, since a hard crease can crack the foil along the fold line.
• Store cards snugly in a case or holder rather than loose, where edges rub against keys, coins, or rough surfaces.
• Thicker stock gives the foil a more rigid edge to grip, so it wears better than foil on thin card.

With reasonable care, a gilded edge keeps its shine for the life of the card.
