Is soft touch lamination the same as matte lamination?

They are related but not the same. Both are non-glossy laminated films that cut glare, but they feel completely different in the hand. Matte lamination gives a flat, smooth, non-reflective surface, while soft touch adds a textured, velvety feel you can physically sense the moment you pick the card up.
