Certificate paper is heavier than everyday copy paper, so a few small habits keep it feeding smoothly. Most jams come from sheets sticking together or the paper path bending thick stock too sharply.
- Fan the sheets before loading to separate them and release static.
- Load only 10 to 15 sheets at a time rather than filling the tray.
- Use the manual feed or rear paper path if your printer has one, since it keeps the sheet straighter with less bending.
- Make sure the paper weight does not exceed your printer's rated capacity.
