Yes, and it is one of the most popular ways to make a piece feel premium. The full-color print goes down first, then the foil is applied as a second pass on top.
- Your artwork prints in full CMYK color.
- Foil stamping is added afterward, sitting on top of the printed design.
- Keep foil elements away from fine printed details so slight registration shifts do not cause overlap.
Allow a little tolerance between the two passes when you design, and the color and foil will complement each other cleanly.
