Question
What is the difference between standard gloss and high gloss UV coating?
Answer
The two are related but not the same. Standard gloss describes the paper itself, while a Hi-Gloss UV coating is an extra layer applied on top of that paper for more shine and protection.
| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Standard gloss | Glossy paper with a smooth finish, such as an 80# Gloss Cover stock |
| Hi-Gloss UV coating | An additional protective layer over the paper that adds extra shine and visual impact |
