Are window clings reusable?
Yes, window clings are reusable. They hold on by static rather than adhesive, so they lift off cleanly without leaving residue, and as long as the cling stays clean it can be taken down and reapplied several times.
- No glue means no sticky film left behind on the glass
- Reusable multiple times when the surface stays free of dust and grease
- Store it flat on its backing sheet between uses so it does not curl or crease
- Clean the window and wipe the cling before reapplying so it grabs a smooth surface and lays down without bubbles
- Dust and fingerprints are what cause a cling to stop sticking
Handle it by the edges and keep it clean, and a single cling can move between seasons or promotions several times.
Peel the cling off gently from one corner so it does not stretch or crease. Store clings between sheets of wax paper to keep dust off the clinging side and stop them sticking to themselves, and refresh that side with a damp microfiber cloth before you reapply.
