What's the difference between U.S. and European business card sizes?

The main difference is proportion. European cards are slightly narrower and taller than the North American standard, which is why a card printed for one market can look off or fail to seat properly in a cardholder built for the other. If you meet contacts across regions, printing a version sized for each keeps you looking local everywhere.
