Question
What types of hotel key cards do you offer?
Answer
4OVER4 offers hotel key cards in both Hi-Co and Lo-Co magnetic stripe formats. The correct type depends on the coercivity your door encoders and locks are set up to write and read.
| Type | Stripe | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Hi-Co | High coercivity | Durable, resists accidental erasure, common in hotels |
| Lo-Co | Low coercivity | Easier to re-encode, matches certain older systems |
Order samples and test them with your specific equipment before placing a full order so the encoding works cleanly.
