Question
What is blind shipping?
Answer
Blind shipping (also known as drop shipping) is typically used when you place an order from 4OVER4.COM to ship to one of your own clients. In other words, your client will believe that you are the printer. In this case, we ship your order using a return address that you provide us with, rather than our own address. The box used to ship any blind orders will have no logos, advertisements, or packing slips attached. Many resellers, brokers, and graphic designers want the order to display as shipping from them rather than 4OVER4.COM.
- How to request it: select the blind shipping option at Step 2 of the checkout cart, or contact support with your order number before the order ships.
- What changes: the UPS label will not list 4OVER4 as the shipper, and no internal paperwork such as production orders, payment receipts, or pricing documents is placed inside the box.
- What still shows: the product, quantity, and the recipient delivery details the carrier needs to complete delivery.
- Optional, not required: choose it whenever you do not want the recipient to see who actually produced or fulfilled the order.
