Question
Why does my digital proof preview look blurry or low-resolution?
Answer
The on-screen proof preview can look lower quality than you expect, but that is just how the preview displays. It is a compressed image, not the file that actually prints.
- What prints: if you uploaded high-resolution files, such as TIF files, the finished product is produced from those, not the preview.
- Verify your files: if you want to be certain which files are being used, contact support and they can confirm.
- The bottom line: preview quality does not reflect final print quality.
As long as your uploaded artwork is high resolution, the printed piece will be sharp.
